สำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์ มฟล. จัดพิธีทำบุญอุทิศส่วนกุศลแด่อาจารย์ใหญ่ ปลูกฝังคุณธรรมและความกตัญญูกตเวทีแก่นักศึกษาแพทย์

สำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดพิธีทำบุญอุทิศส่วนกุศลแด่อาจารย์ใหญ่ประจำปีการศึกษา 2567 - 2568 เพื่อแสดงความกตเวทิตาคุณต่ออาจารย์ใหญ่ที่ได้บริจาคร่างกายเพื่อการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์ ทันตแพทยศาสตร์ การแพทย์บูรณาการ วิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ และพยาบาลศาสตร์ ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 25 ธันวาคม 2568 เวลา 08.00 - 10.30 น. ณ ห้องปฏิบัติการมหกายวิภาคศาสตร์ ชั้น 4 อาคารสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์

พิธีกรรมทางศาสนาเริ่มตั้งแต่การจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย การสวดมนต์ไหว้พระ การรับศีล การสวดมาติกา การทอดผ้าไตรบังสุกุล 4 ไตร การถวายภัตตาหารและไทยธรรมแด่พระสงฆ์ และการขออโหสิกรรมและอธิษฐานจิตแด่อาจารย์ใหญ่ โดยพิธีจะปิดท้ายด้วยการร่วมวางดอกไม้จันทน์เพื่อไว้อาลัยและส่งดวงวิญญาณของอาจารย์ใหญ่

การจัดพิธีทำบุญอุทิศส่วนกุศลแด่อาจารย์ใหญ่ประจำปีมีความสำคัญต่อการศึกษาในแง่ของการช่วยปลูกฝังคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และความกตัญญูกตเวทีแก่นักศึกษา เสริมสร้างจิตสำนึกด้านมนุษยธรรม ทำให้นักศึกษาเห็นคุณค่าของชีวิตและการเสียสละ เชื่อมโยงความรู้ทางวิชาการกับความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม

โดยเฉพาะความกตัญญูกตเวที ความเคารพต่อผู้มีพระคุณ และคุณค่าของการเสียสละ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญของการเป็นบุคลากรทางการแพทย์และวิชาชีพด้านสุขภาพที่มีจริยธรรม การระลึกถึงอาจารย์ใหญ่ซึ่งเป็นผู้บริจาคร่างกายเพื่อการศึกษา ทำให้นักศึกษาและคณาจารย์ตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของชีวิต ความเป็นมนุษย์ และความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม ส่งผลให้การเรียนรู้ไม่ใช่เพียงเชิงเทคนิค แต่มีหัวใจของความเมตตาและเคารพศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์

School of Medicine, MFU, Holds Merit-Making Ceremony to Honor Body Donors, Cultivating Ethics and Gratitude among Future Healthcare Professionals

The School of Medicine at Mae Fah Luang University held its annual merit-making ceremony to honor body donors for the academic year 2024-2025, expressing profound gratitude to those who selflessly donated their bodies for medical education. The ceremony benefited students from the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Integrative Medicine, Health Sciences, and Nursing and was held on December 25, 2568, from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m., at the Gross Anatomy Laboratory, 4th floor, School of Medicine building.

The religious rites commenced with the lighting of incense and candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem, followed by traditional prayers and the receiving of the five precepts. The merit-making included the chanting of funeral abhidhamma (Matika), the offering of four sets of monk's robes (Tri-Bangsukul), and the presentation of food and necessities to the monks. A solemn moment of asking for forgiveness, followed by a collective prayer, was observed in honor of the body donors. The ceremony concluded with the participants laying sandalwood flowers as a final tribute to honor and bid a peaceful farewell to their souls.

The annual merit-making ceremony for body donors holds significant educational value by instilling moral values, professional ethics, and a deep sense of gratitude among students. It strengthens humanitarian awareness, encourages reflection on the value of life and selfless sacrifice, and reinforces the connection between academic learning and social responsibility.

In particular, the values of gratitude, respect for benefactors, and appreciation of altruism are essential foundations for ethical medical and health professionals. Honoring body donors who contributed to medical education reminds students and faculty of the dignity of human life and the responsibilities inherent in healthcare professions, ensuring that medical training is not only technically competent, but also grounded in compassion and respect for humanity.
