มฟล.จัดอบรมวิทยากร BSL-2 เสริมแกร่งความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพในองค์กร

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดยส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย จัดกิจกรรมอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ เรื่อง "การอบรมวิทยากรหลักสูตรความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพและการรักษาความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพ (BSL-2)" โดยมี ดร.ฉายสุรีย์ ศุภวิไล เป็นวิทยากรหลักตลอดทั้งวัน ในวันพุธที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เวลา 08.30 – 16.00 น. ณ ห้องประชุมคำมอกหลวง อาคาร M-Square โซน E-Park ชั้น 5 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

การอบรมครั้งนี้มุ่งพัฒนา "วิทยากรต้นแบบ" ที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพ (Biosafety) และการรักษาความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพ (Biosecurity) ในระดับ BSL-2 โดยเสริมสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจในหลักปฏิบัติ กฎหมาย และการประเมินความเสี่ยงตามมาตรฐานสากล ควบคู่กับการยกระดับทักษะการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และการออกแบบหลักสูตรฝึกอบรม เพื่อให้วิทยากรที่ผ่านการอบรมสามารถนำความรู้ไปขยายผลสู่บุคลากรในหน่วยงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และขับเคลื่อนวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัย ให้เกิดขึ้นอย่างยั่งยืนภายในองค์กร

กิจกรรมแบ่งการอบรมออกเป็นภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ ครอบคลุมเนื้อหาสำคัญ 10 หัวข้อ ได้แก่ กฎหมายและกฎระเบียบที่เกี่ยวข้อง หลักการด้านความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพ การจัดการความเสี่ยงทางชีวภาพ การใช้อุปกรณ์ป้องกันส่วนบุคคล การทำลายเชื้อโรค การขนส่งเชื้อโรค และการจัดการขยะติดเชื้อ พร้อมด้วยการฝึกปฏิบัติจริง 3 หัวข้อ ครอบคลุมการออกแบบสถานที่และการจัดวางอุปกรณ์ในห้องปฏิบัติการ การสวมใส่และถอดอย่างถูกวิธี รวมถึงการจัดการกรณีสารชีวภาพรั่วไหล

MFU Conducts BSL-2 Instructor Training to Strengthen Institutional Biosafety Capacity

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through its Research Administration Division, conducted a hands-on training workshop on "BSL-2 Biosafety and Biosecurity Instructor Training" on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Kham Mok Luang Conference Room, M-Square Building (E-Park Zone), 5th Floor, Mae Fah Luang University. The full-day program was led by Dr. Chaisuriya Suphavilai.

This training aimed to develop a cohort of qualified BSL-2 trainers with expertise in Biosafety and Biosecurity. The program strengthened participants' understanding of best practices, regulatory requirements, and biological risk assessment in line with international standards, while building their ability to design and deliver structured training programs. The goal is to enable these trainers to share biosafety knowledge within their respective units and to foster a sustained culture of laboratory safety across the University.

The training combined theoretical foundations with applied practice. Core modules addressed 10 essential topics including relevant laws and regulations, biosafety principles, biological risk management, personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination procedures, pathogen transport, and infectious waste management. Three hands-on sessions focused on laboratory layout and equipment arrangement, proper donning and doffing techniques, and response procedures for biological spill incidents.

Through this capacity-building effort, MFU continues to enhance institutional readiness in laboratory safety management in alignment with international biosafety standards.
